I have this thing for black and white checkered patterns. Like this jacket. It’s a little big on me, but that gives it the ‘boy friend-ish’ blazer touch that I like and then I’m crazy about the broad shoulders and cropped length. It has a tad of Chanel to it as well, which reminds me of my lovely grandmother.

Many remember Michael Jackson from their childhood. I don’t recall ever listening to a Michael Jackson song until the year of 2003 when I moved to the US. However, I do recall dancing to his sister’s music when I was a child. Nasty boys was one of my favorite tracks! Take a listen:

Another obsession of mine these days is Christopher Ross belts. I think they are absolutly amazing (and extremely expensive)…. I’ve been searching for them on Ebay for a while but there aren’t a lot on sale there. But if you can afford them, Christopher Ross has his own webshop. They will look amazing over a summer dress or even jeans and a top.

Saturday night we went for dinner at our favorite italian restaurant in town to celebrate my friend M’s bday with loads of clams, carpaccio and white wine. Divine food, great company, good music and lot’s of drinks for dessert – it ain’t gettin’ better than that!
