Tomorrow I’m heading to Sweden’s biggest music festival “Peace & Love“. I’m excited but nervous about the whole tent experience, I’m not sure how well I’ll handle the camping part. I’m sooo looking forward seeing all great bands though, like Patti Smith (!), Jay Z, Kent, Johnossi, Robyn, Lily Allen, The Kooks, Julian Casablancas, John Fogerty, Mew, Donkeyboy and Miike Snow among others.

After looking at all the streetstyle pics from the Coachella festival I’m excited to see what peeps r wearing :) As for me I’m gonna mix some Object, vintage, and budget stuff, don’t wanna bring anything too expensive if it gets lost. Will upload pics soon as I get back home sunday / monday. Xx

Wanted to get a new closet for a while but was a bit outraged with the price of a really nice one. I’d rather spend my money on the actual clothes than the closet. Makes sense, no?

So I bought two dressers and three shelves in Ikea + a metal pipe and a chain in the hardware store and voila! Best thing about it: I can see my tressures instead of them being hidden away in a closet.

Sometimes it happens you come across an artist with such a magnificent talent that you just have to bow in the dust.

LP is one of those. I have mentioned her before. A super talented singer that among others performs at the Hollywood Club Bardot on Thursdays. I know I just made a mention about Bardot,  but I just discovered this video with LP and I wanted to share it. And I just have to say; she is much better live….

I found these cool pendants in my mom’s old jewelry box today that I put together to two matching necklaces. Im really happy about how they turned out. It’s one feather, a cross and two amulets – lucky ones I hope :-)

In the july issue of norwegian ELLE, you can find a picture of me from Coachella, together with other norwegian fashionistas. Tomorrow I´m travelling to Hove festival, in the south of Norway. And I can´t wait. If your going to a festival this summer, maybe you´ll find some tips on how to dress above. If not I´m bringing my camera with me, and I´m of course gonna document it all here..

If you’re in a relationship and looking for a special non typical tourist place to go for the summer I can highly recommend the Italian island Capri, a picturesque lux-bohemian paradise in southern Italy. I was there some years ago with a girlfriend, and even though we had a blast I would say it’s better suited for couples. So if you’re planning going somewhere with your boyfriend/girlfriend and you guys haven’t really made up your mind about where to go – go to Capri :) It’s breathtakingly beautiful.

I’m so looking forward to see Sofia Coppola’s latest movie Somewhere. I think she’s fantastic and makes the coolest movies. “Lost in Translation”, “Virgin Suicides” & “Marie Antoinette” are my favorites with her. There is something about the light, and the slow, almost melancholic rhythm in her movies that I find very real and beautiful. They’re all so artsy in a way

This friday we celebrated swedish Midsummer. I don’t really know what the holiday is for but it’s big and a lot of fun. We eat special Midsummer food, drink (most of the time) too much alcohol, sing silly songs and dance around a maypole. This year we were out at my friend Hanna’s family’s summerplace by the water during the day, and later on we went to another party. It was a really good midsummer, one for the books! :)

I didn’t really wear anything typically “midsummerish” during the day but I wore a striped maxi dress from Acne at night. Very swedish and very pretty. Im so sad I don’t have any pics of that outfit. Then again, I’m sure I’ll wear it again :)
