Lise Uduak, born and raised in Denmark, Greenlandic blood in my veins and now living in Berlin. It was never a deliberate decision to move here. That's just where life took me.
I have a degree in marketing management and I spent a year at fashion school. The weirdest job I ever had was supervising bus drivers in Copenhagen - incognito. Checking if they did their job properly once they finished training.
I was a project manager
at a design company here in Berlin before I became my own boss as a freelancer. I share my knowledge about the city as well as my broad network, when I operate as the local set-up person for mainly foreign companies and as a local correspondant.
I get inspired by people who are not afraid to stand out. For me, fashion is not about what's "in" but about how people develop, change style and express themselves through the way they dress.
And I love this quote by Audrey Hepburn:
"I believe in pink. I believe laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing; kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles."
