It’s been a busy weekend. Yesterday I went to Groen Koncert…. it’s a one day festival here in Denmark where a lot of different Danish acts are playing – among others Medina and Alphabeat (do you know them?). It started with the most amazing weather but ended in so much rain – I was soaked…. So I went home and then went out for drinks woth freinds instead. Both my scarf and my sunglasses are from H&M.

HAIR:

For my hair I only use Aveda’s shampoos and conditioners. I especially like the haircare range called Rosemary Mint. The mint has an icing feel on your scalp which is really refreshing.

Before styling and heating I apply this straightening heat-protective balm fra Redken to my hair. It protects my hair from the heat, makes it ultra straight and gives it texture.

I only wash my hair every second or third day. The days I don’t wash I apply Bumble and Bumbles hair powder to my hair. It dry cleanses the hair and gives it texture.

And a couple of tips for you and your hair via Free Beauty Tips.

The first thing you should do is to comb the tangles out of the hair before you wet it so the hair would wash easily and the tangles would not worsen. And then, wet your hair thoroughly under the shower. You can use either warm or cold water if you like, but for best results, you can wet your hair with warm water to open the scale-like cuticles of the hair and wash all the oil and dirt off. And then, you can rinse your hair with cold water afterwards to close the cuticles and add to the shine of your hair.

More often than not, we need to shampoo our hair for a second time. The purpose of the first shampoo is to clean the oil and dirt off; the second shampoo is supposed to let the shampoo treat our hair. So let the shampoo sit on for around a couple of minutes. Rinse the hair completely after this.
