Sun is shining in Berlin today. Finally! Gives an immediate energy boost and makes you want to buy new sunglasses.
Berlin site vintage-sunglasses.de is excellent for shopping retro glasses. I could totally do with these shades from Cartier and Terri Brogan.
I’m addicted to alpha female look! The 80’s super broad shoulders rule the runway this Spring. A look that sends me on a power trip, which is kind of cool because my life is usually ruled by drama and emotions so a little control now and then does seem quite appealing.

Today’s Look: Ballerina meets Urban Jungle…well, I think I look like ‘Littly My’ - the character in the Moomin series ;-)
I’m wearing: Leopard print tee from Forever 21, cardigan from Zara, Harem dress pant from Object (my favorite item in the closet right now), ballerina dance slippers from my dance classes back in NYC, hand bag from Chloé and no makeup.
If anything, Los Angeles is ‘looks-matters-central’. My good friend Pierre that I got to know here in Berlin but who lives in Capetown is a jewellery designer and engraver. I LOVE his work!
He’s actually moving to Berlin in April (because of a woman – what else) and is setting up a workshop here. So soon his stuff will be available in Europe!

I’ve had this vintage Poncho for ages, but I never tire of it. I’ve traveled from city to city and house to house, and had to let many favorite outfits go along the way. But the poncho stuck. I love the native style.

I got these boots for Christmas and I’m loving them. Actually I just got them yesterday because they were shipped to my LA home and I spent Christmas in Copenhagen. A nice detail to come home to yet a present :-)
