You guys should really check out this Norwegian blog, www.miamarionette.blogspot.com. She takes  incredible and  really inspirational pics of people she meets in her life and on the street. She is very Parisian, of course we all love that, and I think she  lived there for a while. But what I really like about her, is the way she capture things with her camera in a really creative way. This girl knows fashion. I met her the other day at an event in Oslo, and I must say, there is not that many good and inspirational Norwegian bloggers out there, I’m really glad I found this one.

Hello readers,

My name is Tanya Elizabeth and Im a close friend of Kristina Korsholm. Currently residing in sunny California. On a daily basis I’m a Student at, ‘The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising’, in the evening you can call me a night owl, on the prowl for the most exciting parties to be in Los Angeles.  I love this city. Consider it my play ground.

This past weekend all of Los Angeles flocked over to Palm springs about 2 hours away in to the Desert. This was my first time in Palm Springs and my first time at, ‘Coachella Festival’. I planned the trip with 2 of my girls friends from Norway, Annie and Nathalie. We decided to head over to Palm springs for all the massive parties that would be going on and eventually find our way to the festival.

Everyone who was anyone was there. From Olympian Shaun White, to Paris Hilton,  Alexander Wang,Will. I am. The Killers, Whitney Port the Wayans Brothers and of course Lindsay Lohan. She is everywhere.

A whirlwind of a trip, from laying by the pool drinking champagne, to being abandoned in the desert at a gas station, I’m happy to say I had the ultimate, ‘Coachella’ experience, being picked up in a all original 70’s vintage van and making it home in one piece.

We met years back during a random fashion week in Copenhagen where we spent a lot of time taking pictures of people and each other. Last night was no different. Except Yvan has become quite famous for his blog and online TV show called Facehunter.

He asked me what’s up in LA so I took him to a classic place in Hollywood called Bardot. The place has live concerts on Mondays. And another cool thing about Bardot is that it is filled with not so ‘Hollywoody’ types. Meaning, that plenty of Euros and New Yorkers go there. A feature that I personally love a lot.

The band turned out to be a pure girl band called ‘The Like’ with fans like Erin Wasson, Alexa Chung and the likes. I was standing shoulder to shoulder with Erin without noticing, but bien sur; The Facehunter spotted her instantly he he ;-)

Spring has sprung and NYC is inviting and irresistible…. The temperature at night is almost the same as during the day and you feel so happy walking around in the streets taking in the look, smell and vibe from the East Coast concrete jungle.

I’m so head over heels with this city… no doubt!

Voluptuous is the new black according to Euro fashion gurus. Models are looking curvier on catwalks than they have in years. And even the waif tooth-pick style icon Kate Moss, who uttered the famous: ”no food tastes as good as skinny feels’ has been spotted a tad more ‘womanly’ (read with boobs and hips) than in her die-hard heroine chick days.

However, The New York City fashion Week has been hopelessly behind this trend for years. That’s why I was puzzled to pick up the news paper with this headline the other morning.

I met and photographed top model Coco Rocha backstage at the Rag & Bone show a couple of seasons ago and she was skinnier and taller than most of the models that day.

interesting and about time that a NYC news paper brings this topic up. I just hope that designers, fashion editors and teenage girls all over the planet hop on this new trend: Curvy is delicious. I’m tired of attending ‘anonymous under-eaters’ parties during fashion week.
